Prospective Nannies:
Once your application has been received we will contact you to set up a personal interview. This interview will preferably be done with children around. We'll ask you some basic questions, explain more of what it means to be a NannyU nanny, and answer any questions you may have for us. The interview will be conducted by Tessa or Becky or both.

Once you've completed the interview, and we feel that you are a good canidate to be placed with one of our families, we will do further work to contact the references you provided. On a good report from the references you'll most likely be considered for placement with a family. When we find a family we feel meets your expectations, schedule, and personality we will give them the "portfolio" we have created for you. This will include your application, resume, interview questions and answers, reference report, and a brief synopsis/description done by the individual you had an interview with. At this point we'd also complete the background check and motor vehicle record and include the results in the portfolio as well.

At this point it is the family's discresion to ask for interviews and to choose what nanny they hire for the job.
